Application board for True Color Sensors

As a supplement to its color sensors, MAZeT offers a MTCS-ME1 hardware solution, based on the MTCS product line. A modularly structured evaluation board, it is intended for color detection and color measurement according to the standard tri-stimulus function under DIN5033. It consists of one mainboard which can be configured with one sensor plug-in module, optics and software as required to match the particular application.

  • free memory space for balancing and correction data
  • interrupt and IO pin terminals for integration into control processes
  • voltage supplied via USB (for RS232 and I²C: separate terminal option)
  • programmable voltage source for operation control of target illumination sources
  • prefabricated configuration versions for interfaces (USB, I²C, RS232) and plug-in modules

  • includes four white-light LEDs, sensor and signal amplifier

  • illuminator-to-sensor geometry of 45°/0° against base board     
  • includes two white-light LEDs, sensor and signal amplifier

  • for color measurement of self-lighting targets or reflecting flat targets with external light source
  • selectable operating mode: transimpedance amplifier or current-to-charge converter
  • sensor arranged 0° (against base board), with slit optics of 2° aperture angle

 

modEVA software

  • capability for averaging of ADC accesses
  • measured values obtained by way of extraneous light compensation
  • intelligent control of signal integration (modEVA-DARK with current-to-charge conversion)
  • brightness control of illuminator LEDs
  • calibration facilities using 3x3 correction matrix (24-target set)
  • administration of specific application settings and matching data, on-board storage
